The impact of CMACED
2009 – Chaudhary Muhammad Akram Center for Entrepreneurship and Development (CMACED) established with the mission to equip students with the right mindset to become entrepreneurs and job creators rather than job seekers.
2015 – CMACED starts providing facilities, access to entrepreneurial network and mentorship to studentpreneurs to nurture their business ideas empowering them to be ready for incubation as soon as they graduate.
Idea Croron Ka – Pakistan’s first startup reality show is born. Innovation District 92 and Scale Up Pk follow suit to spread the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
2017 – With Nabeel A. Qadeer being the driving force behind the show, Idea Croron Ka successfully premeirs in January 2017.
To date, the show has showcased 50 startups of which 17 startups have raised a gross amount of Rs. 22 Crores from a total of 15 investors, both local and international.
The show is now into its third season, the premier of which will take place at Superior Entrepreneurial Expo 2018.
The masses take this show as a symbol of hope, hope to transform their lives.
2018 – Launch of Innovation District 92, Pakistan’s hub of innovation, Co-Founded by Nabeel A. Qadeer, Chief Innovation Officer The Superior Group and Dr. Sumaira Rehman, Rector Superior University.
It envisions an ecosystem that will transform innovative ideas into high-impact businesses.
