Call for Applications – Summer of Solutions

The UN Youth Envoy recently launched Summer of Solutions, a call to action in partnership with UN Technology and Innovation Labs (UNTIL) and the UN Development Program (UNDP) for young people from around the world to create innovative tech-based solutions for global challenges.

This first call for submissions of the #SummerOfSolutions aims to solve climate challenges and is searching for solutions created by young people and for young people to be presented at the sidelines of the Climate Summit in September 2019.

 


Tackling social challenges for humanity through The Elevate Prize powered by MIT Solve


 

The campaign will engage and mobilize young:

  1. Data scientists
  2. Programmers
  3. Designers
  4. Students
  5. Entrepreneurs

The program is open to global applicants in order to develop open source technology solutions to challenges around climate action.

The winners of the challenges will be recognized and invited to demonstrate their winning solutions at the Youth Summit and as appropriate they might be invited to continue collaborating with over the long term.
