The National Incubation Center (NIC) is a first of its kind technology hub launched under the public-private partnership of the Ministry of IT & Telecom, Ignite Fund, Jazz & Teamup.

The NIC, in partnership with Ilm Ideas 2, aims to connect Pakistan’s tech community with education institutions and organizations in order to tackle important, immediate educational challenges in Pakistan.

Hackistan is a 48-hour challenge that will provide participants with research and resources, an engaging workspace and advisory and mentorship support from leading experts in the field. The NIC is additionally providing an opportunity for the winning team to receive 12 months of incubation at the NIC by qualifying as a startup in its 4th cohort (which is starting from September 2018).
